Leaders-in-Training (L.I.T.) Program
Ages 14–15 | Summer 2026
The Leaders-in-Training (L.I.T.) program at Creation Acres Montessori offers older campers a chance to deepen their connection to the farm, arts, and science, while developing leadership, teamwork, and mentoring skills. L.I.T. participants support younger campers, assist with projects, and engage in hands-on leadership experiences—all within a safe, supportive environment.
What Leaders-in-Training Do
- Mentor and assist younger campers during farm work, art projects, and hands-on learning activities
- Lead small-group activities under staff guidance
- Learn practical skills in gardening, animal care, creative arts, and project-based problem solving
- Develop teamwork and communication skills while taking on meaningful responsibility

How It Works
Leaders-in-Training spend part of the day assisting staff and mentoring younger campers, and part of the day continuing their own hands-on projects. Activities are tailored to their age and abilities, providing a balanced mix of learning, leadership, and fun.
The program is ideal for teens who want to explore leadership, contribute to the community, and make a meaningful impact while still enjoying all the creativity and adventure of Creation Acres camps.
